Register and book your EnerGuide home evaluation
Once you've reviewed the eligibility criteria and confirmed that you qualify for the program, you can proceed to register for the Canada Greener Homes Program. Registering for the program and linking it to your preferred sign-in partner will enable you to receive the rebate funds directly to your chosen account once your renovation is complete and approved.
During the registration process, you'll also need to schedule the first of two EnerGuide evaluations with a qualified energy advisor. After selecting your preferred service organization and requesting an evaluation, they will contact you to arrange a suitable time to visit your home and assess its energy efficiency. They'll also advise you on the upgrades you need to make before you can begin the renovation work.

Receive your reimbursement
After your new windows and/or doors have been installed, you'll need to schedule the second EnerGuide evaluation. Once you have provided evidence of the renovations, you'll receive your reimbursement when the Canada Greener Homes Grant program deposits the grant funds directly into your chosen account.
